Beautiful victorian home built in 1904 by Hosea Bailey for his new bride, the house is replete with custom touches such as ornate, mirred fireplace facings, each carved from a different variety of wood (three fireplaces). Features a many-gabled roof with a cupola that rises high above the roofline. Old pine flooring and other woodwork on the first floor were stripped and sanded down to bare wood and refinished to bring back the beauty of the grain in 1986. During the restoration a piece of red cedar lumber was found behind a mirror of one of the fireplaces. Written on it in pencil was J. H.
